Tim McGraw has been announced as the pre-race entertainment for the 2010 Daytona 500. According to ET Online, McGraw will play a trio of songs before the season opening race for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
"Tim McGraw is one of the most popular entertainers in the world and we're thrilled to have him perform the Daytona 500 Pre-Race Show," Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig said.
The Daytona 500 airs on FOX on Valentine's Day, February 14, at 1 PM Eastern Time. Pre-race coverage will begin at noon.
McGraw is currently busy working on his new music video for "Love Don't Let Me Down." The video will feature actress Gwyneth Paltrow. He will also kick off his 2010 tour on February 6 at the San Antonio Rodeo in San Antonio, Texas.
