Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher Hit The Red Carpet
Carrie Underwood and her fiancé, Ottawa Senators' forward Mike Fisher, made their first red carpet appearance at a charity event Monday night in Gatineau, Quebec. The happy couple made their debut for the Senators' annual Soirée fundraiser, which raises money for four local hospital foundations.Underwood, 26, appeared all in black with her hair pulled back in a ponytail, while Fisher, 29, stood by her side in a black suit. They served as celebrity dealers at a blackjack table for a bit and socialized with guests and fellow hockey players.
"They're totally adorable and so down-to-earth," a partygoer told the Ottawa Citizen.
The couple announced their engagement just before Christmas. The two are planning to wed sometime next summer. Underwood, who says she has been collecting ideas and cutting pictures out of magazines, does not yet know who she wants to design her dress.
The singer says she will probably choose "someone I've worked with before that I know I can work well with," UsMagazine.com reports. She also revealed that she wants something "pretty traditional, maybe with flowers on it -- not like real flowers!"
