Oprah Winfrey's show today (Tuesday) is about the Stars of Country Music, featuring SUGARLAND, DARIUS RUCKER, CARRIE UNDERWOOD and KENNY CHESNEY.

GEORGE STRAIT’s brother, John Strait Jr. -- better known as Buddy -- was found dead in a San Antonio, Texas-area hotel room on April 10. He was 58. Police believe he died of natural causes, but an autopsy will likely be performed. This is the second immediate family member George has lost over the years. His daughter, Jennifer, was killed in 1986 as a result of an automobile accident.

SUGARLAND earned six first round nominations for the CMT Music Awards, while TAYLOR SWIFT and BRAD PAISLEY each earned four. Fans can vote at CMT.com through May 11 to determine the final list of nominees for the June 17 awards show, with voting for the winners to be held May 19-June 17.

Individual nightly tickets for the CMA Music Festival will be on sale April 18. They will be priced at $30 for general admission and $40 for reserved seating. The shows take place at Nashville’s LP Field June 11-14. The current lineup includes:

June 11: DIERKS BENTLEY, BROOKS & DUNN, JULIANNE HOUGH, REBA MCENTIRE and BRAD PAISLEY
