Jimmy Wayne May Just Keep On Walking

Country star Jimmy Wayne says he is considering continuing his charity trek - which will take him from Nashville to Phoenix - by foot.

The campaign, which he has dubbed "Meet Me Halfway," was founded as a way to raise money and awareness for teens who become too old for foster homes. Wayne, who was homeless himself as a teenager, says that he has found so much happiness giving back that he may push on past Phoenix and just keep going.

"I don't have any [regrets]," Wayne tells TheBoot.com. "Not one. I'd do it again. I'd go back to Nashville and start over. I would. I told them I'd even consider walking on past Phoenix."

"I was laying in bed last night thinking of what else I could do when this is done because I'm having so much fun," he continues. "It doesn't cost anything. That's the cool thing about it."

Wayne released his most recent album, Sara Smile, last November. The album featured backing vocals from 80's giants Hall & Oates, and peaked at number 35 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.
