Jo Dee Messina has set April 13 as the release date for her next album, called Unmistakable. The effort will be the follow-up to her 2005 release Delicious Surprise. Unmistakable's first single, "That's God," will hit country radio on Monday.

The 39-year-old Messina co-wrote the song with keyboardist Brent Rader.

The country star will also make a special appearance in March at Feinstein's in the Regency Hotel in New York City. Messina will play a string of special shows from March 16-20 that will feature new material alongside fan requests.

Messina broke into the country spotlight in 1996 with her debut self-titled album, which featured the hit "Heads Carolina, Tails California." Since then, Messina has released four studio albums, along with a greatest hits compilation.
