Jo Dee Messina's new single, "That's God," will be released on January 19. The song is part of her forthcoming album Unmistakable, which will hit stores this spring.
"That's God" is a piano ballad with strings and percussion. The idea for the song was born after Messina had an epiphany while taking her son on a walk at a majestic tour stop in Canada.
The Grammy-nominated singer wrote the song along with keyboardist Brent Radar. It is available for streaming at jodeemessina.com.
Unmistakable will be Messina's fifth album and her first in five years.
Her 2005 album, Delicious Surprise, peaked at number one on Billboard's Country Albums chart and sold more than 500,000 copies.
