Taylor Swift has confirmed that she will participate in the upcoming Hope for Haiti Now telethon, which will raise money for the victims of last week's earthquake. The country cutie joins an all-star cast of music celebrities including Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock.
The telethon will air this Friday, January 22, at 8 PM on all major TV networks, with downloads from the show available through iTunes for 99 cents. All proceeds will go to the Haitian relief effort.
The recently announced gig comes at a busy time for Swift, who just released a new single and is also gearing up for the Grammy Awards on January 31, for which she received eight nominations.
Swift's new track, "Today Was A Fairytale," is the first release from the soundtrack of the upcoming film, Valentine's Day. She appears in the film opposite her ex-flame, Taylor Lautner.
