Lainey Wilson On New Black Crowes Album

Lainey Wilson is still riding the success of her 2022 album "Bell Bottom Country," but she appears on another new project this week. Wilson guests on "Wilted Rose" from the first new album from the Black Crowes in 15 years. The Crowes album was produced by Jay Joyce, who helmed "Bell Bottom Country" and 2021's "Sayin' What I'm Thinkin'," but guitarist Rich Robinson tells us that he and his brother, frontman Chris Robinson, were already fans of the singer:

"We just went and did the CMT Awards and she was there and she was just a lovely person and loved the band and the idea came up and we were like, 'Yeah, that could be really cool. The song could use something like that.' She brought a really interesting tonality, because of her voice." SOUNDCUE :18
