Miranda Lambert, Mickey Guyton To Appear On NHL Rescue Dog Competition

Noted animal lovers Miranda Lambert, Kristin Chenoweth, and Mickey Guyton will appear on an National Hockey League-sponsored Stanley Pup program, which promotes animal adoption services. The one-hour special is a creative partnership by the NHL and the nonprofit organization Petco Love, and is centered around a friendly competition featuring adoptable rescue dogs. Stanley Pup will coincide with the hockey world’s celebration of the ongoing 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, with each of the NHL’s 32 teams represented by an adoptable dog. The 16 dogs that represent the teams that qualified for the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs will ultimately face off in a friendly competition of their canine skills. Stanley Pup will air on the NHL Network and ESPN+ on Friday, June 7, at 8 p.m. ET. (Billboard)
