Darius Rucker says that even though he was released without charges following getting pulled over by a police officer in February of 2023, he later learned that there was a warrant out for his arrest. “I got stopped by a police officer and I had a little bit of pot, and I think a little bit of some mushrooms or something in the car, and he let me go,” Rucker recalls. “And a year later I got a phone call from a buddy that said, ‘I think I just saw an arrest warrant for you.’ It shocked me.” Rucker claims that he is still unsure of what prompted the warrant, but he and his legal team are dealing with it.
Rucker also has a new memoir out called Life’s Too Short, and in it he recalls a harrowing experience where he nearly drowned in Hawaii, and actor Woody Harrelson helped rescue him. (People)
