During 2024, Lainey Wilson has already been recognized as the Entertainer of the Year by both the ACM and CMA Awards, and her latest record, Bell Bottom Country, received the Grammy Award for Best Country Album. But on Friday night the country superstar from Baskin, Louisiana, achieved a career milestone that outshines all of those accolades, as Wilson was inducted as a member of the historic Grand Ole Opry. Country legends Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks did the official induction honors for Wilson. “Tonight, it honestly feels like the biggest night of my life,” Wilson said. “We’ve had a crazy couple of years with all the awards, but this right here is the highest honor. It feels like the stamp of approval. It lights another fire under my butt.” (Billboard)
