Ella Langley Opens Up About The Breakout Success Of “You Look Like You Love Me”

Ella Langley released her debut album, Hungover, on August 2, but the rising country singer has already tasted success. The social media reach of her single with Riley Green, “You Look Like You Love Me,” propelled the song to No. 15 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. “We had no idea we were going to do the song that night onstage, but we did,” Langley says of their live collaboration. “He’s from Alabama too, and I remember a long time ago playing for a line of people waiting to get into a Riley Green show. I didn’t have a ticket, I just watched his show through the gate. So getting on his tour was good. We just ripped into this song and it’s been a whirlwind ever since.”

Langley starts her 14-date headlining tour this month, while also opening for Morgan Wallen, including his recent Arrowhead Stadium show in Kansas City. “It was insane,” she says. “Getting up in that stadium yesterday felt like that little girl’s dream just came true, and just letting her enjoy the hard work that’s been put into this.” (Billboard)
