Spotify’s Homegrown playlist already shines the spotlight of acoustic-oriented country artists. And now, they are bringing that sound to live stages across the country with the Homegrown Presents Concert Series. The first two shows of the new series will feature Dylan Gossett playing a concert in his hometown of Austin, Texas, on September 8, and Wyatt Flores performing a show in his birthplace of Stillwater, Oklahoma on October 7. More shows will be announced in the coming months, with free tickets given out via email through Spotify’s Top Listeners program.
“Homegrown is all about authentic connections to music, celebrating your roots, and never forgetting where you came from,” says Claire Heinichen, Spotify’s editor of country music. “Tying these songs and artists to the places that made them felt like the perfect way to bring fans in to experience the playlist in real life.
