Luke Bryan released his highly-anticipated new album, Mind of a Country Boy, on Friday (September 27), the country superstar’s first full-length album since 2020’s Born Here Live Here Die Here. While there are plenty of rowdy, good-time tunes that Bryan has become known for on his new record, there are also plenty of moments where the singer reflects on what he calls “more mature-type subject matters.” No matter what style of songwriting you like best from Bryan, you’re bound to find something to connect with on his wide-ranging new record. “I think this album, as I’ve tried to do with all my albums, just has a little bit of everything,” said Bryan. “It’s about each song having its place and having its meaning. It’s trying not to be overly redundant with songs. I think that’s why I’ve been blessed to have a long career and what I feel like this album’s going to do.” (People)
