Scotty McCreery Inducted into The Opry By Randy Travis And Josh Turner

Scotty McCreery was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry family on Saturday night, (Apr 20th).

His musical hero, Josh Turner did the honors and he was joined by surprise guest, Country Music Hall of Famer and Opry member, Randy Travis, who happens to be Josh’s musical hero.

The moment of the 3 of them together, didn’t get past Josh, as he said: “I stand here tonight proud of the fact that I bridged the gap between the generation of Randy Travis and Scotty McCreery. Only time will tell who will be inspired by Scotty.”

Scotty pointed out to the crowd, that for 15 years, his biggest career goal was to become an Opry member… and followed by saying: “I gotta go home and start writing a new bucket list.”

From his upcoming album, Scotty performed his new single “Cab in a Solo,” and “Fall of Summer.” He also sang “Three Wooden Crosses,” a #1 song of Randy’s from 2002.
