Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen was due to open over the busy Memorial Day weekend. But the grand opening plans for the new Nashville bar and eatery were postponed at the last minute because the owners are awaiting final inspections and need more time to get the place ready for service. The delay in opening is apparently not related to the recent decision by the Nashville Metro Council to deny approval for an outside sign for the bar. “When we open, we want This Bar to be an exceptional experience for guests,” said a statement from the team behind Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen. “Unfortunately, the process requires more time, and we are not able to open and provide that experience this Memorial Day weekend. Rest assured it will be well worth the wait. We look forward to welcoming guests soon.” (Billboard)
