Morgan Wallen Show Sets Record For Largest Country Concert In U.K. History

This is shaping up to be an historic summer for Morgan Wallen. The country superstar currently has the No. 1 song in the country with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” and he just released his new hit single, “Lies Lies Lies” on July 4. And to celebrate his new song, Wallen played a show in London’s grandiose Hyde Park on Friday and set a record for the largest country concert ever held in the United Kingdom. The sold-out show drew 50,000 fans, including high-profile couples like Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. The historic Hyde Park show – which also featured opening acts Riley Green, Ernest, and Alana Springsteen – raised $20,000 for the Morgan Wallen Foundation. That money is being donated to the London Youth Choirs, which aims to improve access to music for disadvantaged youth. (Billboard)
